Nursery Reveal!

Our nursery has come a LONG way since moving into our new house... Here is the official nursery reveal for our little prince (If you are my friend on Facebook, you have probably already seen these pictures.)

As much as we LOVED the hot pink... We just didn't think our son would love it as much ;)
The old owners of our house left us this crib because they knew we were having a baby. It's in the process of being painted white!

Priming took FOREVER... That hot pink just wouldn't go away!
Starting the LONG process of painting on the Chevron stripes...
Halfway done with the chevron wall!

We're just watching daddy hard at work!
The wall is complete and I'm OBSESSED WITH IT!
Lookin' pretty bare!

Thanks to my MIL for creating these!

Yes, you sure will baby boy, you sure will.
Scored these at Kohls!
Organization galore!
My and my two girlfriends made these curtains!
Just need to get the crib painted and re-assembled
One of my favorite things about the room... My yellow nightstand and teal light from Marshalls!
Need to add the teal shelves on both sides of the mirrors with knick-knacks and frames on each shelf

More organizing in the drawers!

Shelves are finally up!
Obsessed with the final product. I'm so impressed with how well the accent wall looks
Crib's finally re-painted
All that we're waiting on is baby Colt to make his arrival!
Spoiled baby already

Am I the only FTM or mommy that can literally just sit in the nursery for hours on end and be completely content? Because I find myself gravitating to this room every day and just sitting in here for long periods of time just imagining holding my precious little boy! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone. Only a few months left until Colton is in my arms!

Thanks go out to Darby at Life with the Hawleys for suggesting the stencil to us (and letting the hubs & I creepily stalk your blog for hours on end to get ideas.)

The stencil is from Cutting Edge Stencils and was SUPER easy to use! I could not be more impressed with how easy the stencil was and how awesome the accent wall came out! Not to mention their shipping was quick and they have a plethora of different stencils to chose from! I can't wait to buy more and re-decorate the rest of our house! You definitely need to check out their website. And I am in no way affiliated with them, I just REALLY love and would recommend their products!

Thanks for making me look good... Maternity photos!

This is going to be a photo overload post... We finally made it back to Texas safe and sound VERY early this morning! We had a GREAT time in Indiana visiting our friends and family and sometimes wish I could just pack them all up and move em' all down south with us! :( I will make sure to write another post of our awesome vacation, but until then I am going to leave you with some of our MATERNITY PICTURES!

The night before we left for Indiana I saw a post on Facebook from the lovely lady who shot our wedding over 4 years ago! She said she had ONE SPOT left for a mini session and what do you know, it was the exact time we were home. Of course I jumped at the chance to get a few pictures shot by her and it helped that it wasn't too long of a session and pretty inexpensive! I was excited to see an e-mail this morning saying our pictures had been posted!

I am in love with them and if you are anywhere near Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers area you need to check her out at Mindy Hiatt Photography!

Thanks for making us look gooooooood

* I am ONLY 6 months pregnant in these pictures, ommmmg. I can't imagine how much more growing that belly of mine will be doing in the next few months!

21 Week Bumpdate and I hate this Texas heat!

We finally got the nursery painted (I can't wait to show ya'll a sneak peek next week!!!!)

Since I haven't been good about posting every week, some of these pictures are from the last two weeks. I haven't taken my 21 week bump yet this week (opps) so i'll have to post that one later ;)

How far along? 21 weeks

Baby Size:
Baby is the size of a spaghetti squash... Baby is A FULL POUND THIS WEEK!!!!

Total weight gain:
Refusing to weigh myself... Ugh. But, I can infer that it's at least 10 or more... :-\

Maternity clothes?
Yup... and mostly maxi's... And let me tell you, this Texas heat blooows!

Stretch marks?
None yet! I'm hoping it stays that way ;)

Not so great... Can't get comfy and I constantly toss and turn all night. So I wake up every morning groggy and exhausted.

Best moment this week: Getting Colton's room FINALLY painted! Thanks hubs for working so hard on it!

Miss Anything? Wine, still...

Movement: Still haven't felt anything... Going to ask about it at my apt. next week. I think i've been feeling flutters, but not sure exactly what I should be feeling... And I only feel it when i'm laying down. :( :(

Food cravings: Always candy... chocolate. But, that's nothing unusual!

Anything making you queasy or sick: This Texas heat!!! I literally go outside for 20 minutes and I automatically feel nauseas!

Gender: A BOY!!!!!!!!!! Colton John :)

Symptoms: Sciatic pain is never ending! It's getting harder to sit on the floor and get back up easily, haha!

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On although I am starting to swell in this heat! (Anyone else gone through this?)

Mood: Nervous about getting everything together now that i've hit the halfway mark :-\

Looking forward to: The baby shower for Colton next weekend in Indiana. But what i'm NOT excited about is the 18 hour car ride back there (although, it will probably be longer with all the bathroom breaks i'm going to need!) And yes, we DO drive straight through. Not sure how i'm going to last 18 + hours in a car with all the back pain i've been having lately :-\

But, i'm excited to see my parents, especially since my mom has been really really sick the last 5 months, so i'm excited to see her and give her a BIIIIGGG hug! She's still undergoing testing so please say some prayers for my family!

I also bought my baby bag over the weekend and I must say, I am mildly obsessed with it!!!!!!! Loooooving Kate Spade lately!
